Doing yoga in sneakers or boots is perfectly acceptable
Morning mist is a balm for the soul
Vegetarian food this good is why people become vegetarian
There is no such thing as too many blankets
Sometimes you might never get to the secret garden in the yoga nidra. Sometimes feeling the golden light will be enough
After a while, all the walking trails look the same

The kindness of strangers is alive and well in Dwellingup
If you get locked out of your cabin it turns out I am good at breaking and entering
The best conversations happen in the kitchen
Some of us really want to live on a tiny farm and feed the chooks all day

We cannot know what is going on under the surface, especially when that surface has become layered and protective over the years
The sheer bravery that some approached the weekend with made me teary
Watching people step out of their comfort zone, and get a bit uncomfortable and be okay with that, was inspiring
Reading, colouring, drawing, napping, puzzling, journalling - the simplest yet most effective rejuvenators

Resting, whether by sleeping in, or choosing to Savasana through a whole yoga session, is one of the best things we can do for our health
... and once we are rested, going for a walk on uneven ground, surrounded by towering trees and crisp morning air is the next best thing. If you can hug a tree, even better!

Nature. Napping. Noodling about. Nourishment. Nurturing body, mind and heart. It was only 3 days but it felt much longer in the best possible way.
Our Circle Back to Yourself Retreat was such a joy to organise and be a part of. The venue was perfect, the food sensational and the group diverse and lovely. Much appreciation to all who came along for their enthusiasm, kindness and capacity to let go, even if just for a while. I am looking forward to the next time we are all away together â¤ď¸
Much love,
